MUNCIE, Ind. – Ohio State scored multiple runs in each of the first four frames to build an 11-3 lead, but the Ball State baseball team pulled off a stunning comeback to knock off the Buckeyes, 12-11, Wednesday afternoon at First Merchants Ballpark Complex.
Ball State (23-20) used the long ball and several highlight-reel defensive plays to earn its third straight win over Ohio State (28-14). Five Cardinals tallied a home run – junior Chase Sebby, along with seniors Jeff Riedel, Seth Freed, Colin Brockhouse and Justin Kirkpatrick.
