MUNCIE, Ind. — At this year's Indiana boys swimming and diving state championship meet, Delta swimmer Brady Samuels made colleges take notice.
Doing what he did — dropping 0.62 seconds off his 100 freestyle time from the sectional meet to the state finals — took his recruiting to a whole new level. In just two weeks, the record-breaking Delta swimmer shaved more than half a second off his 100 free time. After that, Samuels started to receive daily calls, emails and texts from coaches.
That was six weeks ago when the junior finished as the state runner-up in the 100 free (44.
