MUNCIE — Make no mistake, Victor Young was frustrated. After a 73-69 loss to Marion, he wasn't the only Central player who was.
But amid the frustration that Young said he felt after the game, someone asked him to take a picture with two kids. Without hesitation, the senior obliged and smiled as the young fans beamed with excitement as they ran out onto the court to stand alongside the 6-4 guard/forward.
Young could've just as easily walked away in anger from the loss, but he didn't. He stayed and made the day for a pair of kids who cheered non-stop during the back-and-forth North Central Conference affair Thursday night.
