MUNCIE, Ind. - Sophomore forward scored 21 points tonight, 16 of which were in the second half, to help lift Ball State past Urbana Monday night in Worthen Arena. The Cardinals (8-4) defeated the Blue Knights (7-6) by a score of 84-49 in their non-conference season finale.
It wasn't easy, but a combination of the Cardinals hot second half offense along with Ball State's tenacious defense helped Ball State end the night on a high note despite trailing Urbana after the first half, 34-32. Ball State outscored Urbana in the final 20 minutes of play, 52-15.
