KENT, Ohio - In a game that saw 10 ties and 12 lead changes, the outcome was destined to be close. Unfortunately, the Cardinals fell 69-68 to Kent State in Mid-American Conference action Wednesday night at the M.A.C Center.
The last two contests between Ball State (13-7, 5-3 MAC) and Kent State (11-7, 4-3 MAC) have been decided by only four points, with the Cardinals winning both those contests. Ball State had won the first meeting this year between the Golden Flashes on Jan. 4, 66-62 in Worthen Arena. The year prior, the Cardinals earned a 48-44 victory over Kent State on Jan.
