BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State women's basketball team pulled out a close 59-57 victory on the road at Buffalo Saturday afternoon in Alumni Arena. With the win Ball State improves to 16-5 overall and 8-2 in MAC action while the Bulls fall to 11-10 on the season and 3-7 in league play.
The game came down to the fourth quarter but Ball state came out atop after overcoming a 14-point halftime deficit. Senior Nathalie Fontaine led the Cardinals charge with 18 points after scoring only two in the first half. Sophomore Moriah Monaco was the only other Cardinal to score in double figures after having a 13 point performance.
