MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's basketball team (8-22, 3-15 MAC) led for 30 minutes in today's ball game but EMU (13-16, 6-11 MAC) used a 27-14 run in the fourth quarter to win the ball game, 67-57.
It was like déjà vu for the Cardinals and the Eagles in the fourth quarter. The first meeting in Ypsilanti, Mich., between EMU and BSU had also went down to the wire.
Tied at 51-51 with 4:46 left in the game, both teams were fighting to come out on top. EMU used a 16-6 run in the final five minutes of action to comeback and take the victory from BSU.
