MUNCIE, Ind. -The Ball State women's basketball team is officially back, showing off a more up-tempo game plan than in previous years. Ball State dominated the University of Illinois Springfield, 92-42, in their preseason exhibition game Wednesday night in Worthen Arena.
Despite a lot of new faces on the team this season, the Cardinals controlled the game from the beginning, pushing the ball up the court quickly at all times and getting easy baskets in transition.
Three players scored in double figures, with Destiny Washington leading the way with a double-double, finishing with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
