SELMA, Ind. — There's a certain giddiness players on the Wapahani volleyball team have.
After all, the Raiders are a young team, led by a second-year coach and have spent four of the past five months away from each other and from the game they love. Back together, there's plenty of laughter shared as they prepare for another season with high expectations.
When asked about last season's state championship loss, however, the laughter stops. Of course, none of them have forgotten that 3-0 loss to Heritage Christian in the finals, but how often do they really think about it?
