MUNCIE, Ind. — To fill its open girls basketball head coach position, Wapahani hired a longtime Indiana high school basketball coach who also happens to be from Delaware County.
Scott Hudson was officially hired as Wapahani girls basketball coach this week. He met the team Thursday as it started summer workouts.
A 1986 graduate of Wes-Del, Hudson has been a boys head coach for 24 seasons with eight years each at Wes-Del (1995-2002), Eastside (2003-10) and Evansville Central (2011-18). He is 243-279 with three sectional championships in his career.
