MUNCIE, Ind. — Wapahani defeated Yorktown on Saturday night in dramatic fashion, thanks to Tre Spence.
With the Raiders down by one and inbounding under their own basket, Garett Stanley drove the length of the floor and found Spence in the corner. Spence drained the 3-pointer to lift Wapahani to a 60-58 victory.
Spence finished with 25 points and five rebounds, while Drew Luce added 13 points, Stanley chipped in 11 and Evan Raush had nine for Wapahani (14-5).
