MUNCIE, Ind.- - Ball State high jumper Regan Lewis picked up one more award for her stellar junior campaign Thursday (July 26), being named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Individual Team.
Lewis, a native of Greenfield, Indiana, qualified for USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual Team honors for both the 2018 indoor and outdoor seasons as a nursing major with a 3.79 cumulative grade point average.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and have met one of the following athletic standards:
- For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.
