INDIANAPOLIS – The story is well-traveled by now.
In an effort to convince Trayce Jackson-Davis to stay in Bloomington for one more year, Mike Woodson cut together tape of the All-Big Ten forward — none of it good — and sat him down to watch it. Woodson wanted to make a point: There’s so much more to work on here, so much more you can do with your game before you go pro. Give me a chance to get you there.
“When I met with him about coming back this season, I didn’t show him tape of all the things he did well,” Woodson said during IU’s turn at Big Ten media days Friday.
