Track and field closed its 2016 indoor season at the Ball State Tune-Up with seven individual event wins.
As a team, the Cardinals beat Wright State, 98-85, and IPFW, 101-53, but fell to Western Michigan, 107-80.
Senior Zenée Gadson won the triple jump with 12.10m, earning her a MAC automatic qualifying mark.
Freshman Jazmin Smith also cleared the MAC automatic qualifying time when she won the 60m hurdles with a career best 8.68.
Ball State runners also took the top two spots in the 400m dash. Sophomore Gabby Sims won the event with a time of 57.
