Track and Field Continues to Improve at Hoosier Horsepower Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Track and field competed at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic Saturday (Jan. 18) in Indianapolis. This was the Cardinals third meet of the indoor season.

Competition opened once again with the weight throw. Brooklyn Taylor led the Cardinal throwers, finishing with a new personal best mark of 15.13 meters.

For the long jumpers, Jenelle Rogers was the Cardinals' top finisher, finishing third overall with a mark of 5.88 meters. In the triple jump, Mckenna Cinotte led the team with a jump of 11.79 meters and a third-place finish. Brenna Lehrke finished fifth and jumped a personal best mark of 11.
