MUNCIE, Ind. — One of the best-known players in recent college football history is slated to make a stop in Muncie this fall.
The East Central Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes has signed two-time national champion and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow to be the closing speaker at its 10th annual Fields of Faith event, which FCA has planned for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Ball State's Worthen Arena. Tebow's devout Christian faith has been well-documented during his professional football and now baseball career.
"For the last five years, I've been telling the Fields of Faith team that we're going to do something really special for the 10th anniversary," ECI FCA director Jeff Mosier told The Star Press at a signing event on Tuesday.
