YPSILANTI, Mich. — Ball State (4-3, 2-1 MAC) earned its third straight victory with a 38-31 win over Eastern Michigan (4-3, 1-2 MAC).
The Cardinals scored touchdowns on their first two drives and never allowed the Eagles to lead. On Saturday, Ball State reestablished the running game and won the turnover margin yet against as it remains one of the top teams in the Mid-American Conference.

Ball State reestablishes running game
After running for more than 100 yards in three of its first four games, Ball State combined for just 101 rushing yards in wins over Army and Western Michigan.
