NEW CASTLE, Ind. — A win over New Castle is one that Yorktown had been waiting on for a long time.
New Castle had the ball with 9.2 seconds left. Yorktown senior Luke Dunn had just hit a pair of free throws to give the Tigers a one-point lead, but the Trojans had a chance to deliver the last blow after exchanging the lead with the Tigers multiple times in the final minute.
As New Castle junior William Grieser received the inbound and dribbled the ball the length of the floor, he was met by multiple Yorktown defenders.
