The high school boys basketball tournament is postponed indefinitely. Now what?
For 64 teams, there is no clarity and no official word on if or when the regional, semistate and state finals will be played due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Indiana High School Athletic Association waited as long as it could — moving at least two regional sites — before postponing Saturday’s scheduled regional games at noon on Friday.
“The association will continue to evaluate the utility of continuing the boys basketball tournament at a later date and will inform our member schools and the public as soon as a definitive decision can be reached,” IHSAA commissioner Bobby Cox said in a video statement.
