MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men's basketball team was well represented on the MAC's postseason awards list with Tahjai Teague on the all-conference first team and all-defensive team, Ishmael El-Amin on the third team and Jarron Coleman tabbed the league's freshman of the year.
The MAC announced the awards Wednesday on the eve of the conference tournament in Cleveland. Ball State opens Thursday in the quarterfinals against Kent State at approximately 9 p.m. on ESPN+, 104.9 WERK FM and 96.7 Blake FM.
Teague, a fifth-year senior from Indianapolis, became the first Ball State player named to the All-MAC First Team since Jarrod Jones in 2011.
