MUNCIE, Ind. — Tayler Persons has a knack for game-winners, as Ball State fans know well.
He has been showcasing his clutch shooting in the 3X3U National Championship this weekend. He has two game-winning shots Sunday to help the MAC team into the semifinals on ESPN2 at 3:30.
The championship squad gets $100,000. Persons is one of four players on the MAC team, along with Toledo's Jaelan Sanford, Kent State's Jaylin Walker and Central Michigan's Larry Austin.
The MAC went 2-1 in pool play Friday and Saturday, including a victory over the Big East, to reach the round of 16 on Sunday.
