MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State returned to action Saturday as it welcomed Central Michigan to Scheumann Stadium for another Mid-American Conference matchup. The Cardinals entered the matchup looking to end a two-game losing streak against MAC foes. They came in with a shot to win a fifth game in a season for the first time since Mike Neu took over as head coach. And they weren’t able to come away with a win.
Ball State (4-6, 3-3 in MAC play) suffered a 45-44 defeat against Central Michigan (7-4, 5-2).
