MUNCIE, Ind. — Saturday was the first time fans were able to get a glimpse at the 2021-22 Ball State men's basketball team.
The Cardinals hosted an open scrimmage in Worthen Arena prior to Ball State football's game against Miami (Ohio). Hundreds of fans came to watch Ball State, which includes six new players — three transfers and three freshmen — along with a handful of new coaches.
Centers Ben Hendricks and Blake Huggins, who was in a walking boot, did not play. The 13 other players on the roster were divided into two teams, red and black, and played two 10-minute halves.
