Ball State football secured its first road win of the 2020 season Saturday with a 27-24 victory against Toledo at the Glass Bowl.
The Cardinals are on a three-game winning streak now in Mid-American Conference play after victories against Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Toledo. BSU head coach Mike Neu’s squad now has back-to-back wins against Toledo for the first time since the 2012-13 seasons, in addition to the program’s first win at Toledo since 2012. And while Ball State came close to squandering a three-possession lead in the fourth quarter, it’s now 3-1 with a spot in the MAC title game still within the Cardinals’ grasps.
