HARTFORD CITY, Ind. — Blackford went through a basketball renaissance last season, and now the Bruins have a fresh new gym to match.
In the 50th year of the school, Blackford's gym got a makeover that was mostly finished this week. The new features include a huge gray and white Bruin mural on one wall and the black painting above both sides of bleachers that says "Home of the Bruins" in white. There are also a few new logos in each corner.
The gym also got new side basketball goals, and athletic director Tony Uggen said new main goals are coming soon.
