MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State fifth-year senior Tahjai Teague was one of 50 players nationally named to the midseason watch list for the Lou Henson Award, presented annually to the top mid-major player in the country.
Teague was one of four MAC players named to the list, joining Eugene German of Northern Illinois, Marreon Jackson of Toledo and Antonio Williams of Kent State.
The Indianapolis product is averaging a career-best 13.9 points per game while leading the Cardinals in rebounding (7.9 rpg), steals (1.7 spg), blocks (1.4 bpg) and field goal percentage (.524). He ranks among the top 10 in the MAC in all four of those categories.
