Stayton a finalist for CLASS Award

Ball State baseball player Caleb Stayton was chosen as one of 10 finalists for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award® in collegiate baseball. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. Stayton has qualified for the dean’s list every semester he has been at Ball State. Last spring, he was named a CoSIDA first-team Academic All-American. A Presidential Scholar at Ball State, Stayton posted a 4.0 GPA in the fall, currently carries a 3.
