YORKTOWN, Ind. — When Yorktown wrestling coach Trent McCormick asked his Tigers an important question, he get an overwhelming response.
The Indiana High School Athletic Association recently passed a new rule allowing for wrestlers to compete in new two-piece uniforms instead of the traditional one-piece singlets.
It consists of a compression shirt and compression shorts. The shirt must have a minimum three-inch tail and can't extend past the elbow, while the shorts must have a minimum four-inch inseam and can't extend past the knees.
So when McCormick asked the wrestling team if they wanted him to order the new two-pieces, every hand shot into the air.
