MUNCIE, Ind. — Carmen Grande, who was second in the country in assists this past season, is no longer with the Ball State women’s basketball program, the Star Press has learned. The star point guard will seek a graduate transfer for her final year of eligibility.
Ball State coach Brady Sallee confirmed that Grande had left the program and had no comment other than, "I’m really excited about the young ladies that we’re moving forward with."
Already the program’s all-time assists leader with 697, Grande has started all 96 of Ball State’s games in the last three seasons.
