MUNCIE, Ind. — Spring practice is over and while there was some clarity made for the kind of team fans might see in 2022, there are still plenty of questions for Ball State football heading into the summer.

What will John Paddock look like at QB?
For the first time in three and a half seasons, Ball State will have a new quarterback under center. Redshirt senior John Paddock, who still has two years of eligibility remaining, will enter the summer as the No. 1 quarterback.
Paddock has limited game action but played against Penn State and Wyoming — two lopsided losses for Ball State — in 2021.
