MUNCIE, Ind.- - Ball State softball head coach Megan Ciolli Bartlett announced today that assistant coach Josh Johnson has been promoted to associate head coach for the Cardinals.
"I could not be happier to promote Josh to associate head coach," Bartlett said. "He is loyal, hardworking and intelligent. He has done an excellent job with recruiting and managing the battery over the past three seasons. Josh is an asset to me, as well as the program, and he has earned the title."
Johnson, the program's pitching coach, completed his third season at Ball State by helping the Cardinals finish the 2018 campaign with the top pitching staff in the Mid-American Conference.
