Softball Hits 20 Wins With 10-3 Victory Over Cleveland State

MACON, Ga.- - Powered by a season-high 15 hits, Ball State softball became the first team in the Mid-American Conference to reach 20 wins this season with a 10-3 victory over Cleveland State in its first of two Saturday games at the Mercer Bears Classic.

The Cardinals (20-10) return to action later this afternoon with a scheduled 3:45 p.m. first pitch versus the host Bears.

Ball State opened the game versus the Vikings (5-15) strong, as each of the first three batters came around to score. Junior left fielder Haley Dominique started the rally with a double to left field and sophomore second baseman Stacy Payton followed with an RBI double down the right field line.
