MUNCIE, Ind. -- After having the nation's longest active home unbeaten streak snapped last week, the Ball State soccer team was ready to begin a new one.
And it didn't take the Cardinals long to get started.
Junior forward Amanda Shaw scored in the second minute, and Ball State got better as the game went along en route to a 3-0 victory over Eastern Michigan at the Briner Sports Complex.
Alessandra Fistrovich and Emily Scott added second-half goals as the Cardinals (7-6-2, 5-1-1 MAC) stayed atop the Mid-American Conference West Division standings.
