MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State soccer team continued its spring schedule Saturday at the Briner Sports Complex with a win over Grace College and a draw against reigning NAIA national champion Northwestern Ohio.
The Cardinals started the day against Northwestern Ohio, a team that went 23-2-1 on the way to its championship in the fall. The teams held each other scoreless in a defensive battle.
"Northwestern Ohio was a very credible team for us to play against," Ball State coach Craig Roberts said. "We did face a little bit of adversity this week with one or two injuries we sustained, so we had to make several adjustments.
