Todd Salkoski spent most of Tuesday hoping to get an answer that never came.
“I’ve learned,” Salkoski said, “that sometimes no answer is the answer.”
Salkoski, the athletic director at Shenandoah High School, a school of 450 students in Henry County, said he put a call into Henry County Health Department administrator Angela Cox on Tuesday for guidance. On Monday, the school district transitioned to remote classes and cancelled all athletic events based on a recommendation from the local health department due to rising COVID-19 positive tests.
