MUNCIE, Ind. — Muncie Central performed well yet again on Saturday at the Delaware Invitational at the Delaware Country Club.
The Bearcats fired a 305 to win the invite, finishing ahead of New Castle (316), Yorktown (331) and Delta (343), among others.
Brock McCoy led the Bearcats and finished second overall with a 72, while Nick Phillips was fourth with a 74. Jack Byrnes followed with a 78 and Brody McCoy shot 81.
Other top local finishers were New Castle's Brady Wheeler (75), Trevor Turner (77) and Tanner Alfrey (81), Yorktown's Bryce Hardwick (80) and Codey Carey (82), and Delta's Tyler Jobe (82) and Blake Shenayda (83).
