MUNCIE, Ind. — BSU football announced a future non-conference matchup Tuesday, revealing it’ll play Auburn on Sept. 6, 2025, on the road.
Ball State is coming off of a Mid-American Conference title and Arizona Bowl victory in 2020, which saw the Cardinals finish ranked in the top 25 of national polls. BSU has faced Auburn three times in the past, most recently in 2009, with all three meetings ending in defeats. For Haven Fields, a Ball State deputy athletic director, this’ll bring his current school into a contest with his alma mater.

“This game will provide our football student-athletes a platform to compete on another big stage with a rich intercollegiate sporting experience,” Fields said in a BSU release.
