MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State's Riley Miller was named Thursday to the preseason watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the top receiver in college football.
Miller was one of two Mid-American Conference players on the watch list, joining Western Michigan's D'Wayne Eskridge. The Cardinals have had a representative on the list in six of the past seven years, most recently Justin Hall last year.
Miller ranked third in the MAC in receptions per game (5.1) and fourth in receiving yards per game (73.2) on his way to second-team all-conference honors last season.
