INDIANAPOLIS--Ball State men’s swimming and diving started off the spring semester a few days early, falling to both IUPUI, 191.5-50.5, and Xavier, 151-76, in a dual meet Friday.Head coach Bob Thomas said that the Cardinals looked tired after the meet.
“Some of the guys did well (like I was expecting),” Thomas said. “But a few that the break time they had, as well as this last week, caught up to them.”
But there were some bright spots in the meet.
In the 1,000-yard freestyle, junior Isaac Walling finished fourth with a time of 10:08.29, while senior JD Middleton finished sixth with 10:19.
