Junior forward Sean Sellers drained a three-pointer on Ball State’s first possession of the game and the Cardinals never looked back, winning 80-63 on Dec. 6.
Ball State led for 17 minutes and 34 seconds of the first half and all 20 minutes of the second half. The Cardinals never trailed.
“It feels good, it was a good feeling in the locker room,” head coach James Whtiford said. “I thought we played the game the right way, defended well, and it feels good to come out on one where we kind of had control of it all game.
