MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball team came up big Saturday night as they defeated Loyola, 3-1, in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Quarterfinals.
Freshmen Blake Reardon and Matt Szews had impressive performances, each knocking down a team-high 11 kills. Reardon added two service aces, five digs and two block assists while Szews added seven digs, one service ace, one assist and one block assist.
Sophomore Parker Swartz tallied eight kills for a .800 hitting percentage. Junior Matt Walsh had five kills and junior Mitch Weiler added five.
