NEW CASTLE, Ind. — In his first game as New Castle's starting quarterback, William Grieser nearly doubled his total passing yards from last season.
The left-handed junior threw for 294 yards, completing 24-of-53 passes in the Trojans season opener. Grieser scored three first half touchdowns — two through the air and one on the ground — to give the Trojans a 20-14 lead heading into the locker room.
