MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State football team's pair of No. 9s received weekly honors from the Mid-American Conference after leading the Cardinals to a key league road win Saturday at Toledo.
Quarterback Drew Plitt was named the MAC West Division offensive player of the week and outside linebacker Christian Albright earned the division's defensive honor for their efforts in the 27-24 victory, the Cardinals' first at the Glass Bowl since 2012.
Plitt, a redshirt senior from Loveland, Ohio, threw for 304 yards and accounted for three total touchdowns the win. He had a hand in all three TDs for the Cardinals.
