MUNCIE — Perhaps the most difficult thing to accept about the remainder of the boys basketball tournament being canceled is not knowing.
Not knowing how deep Cowan, which won just its second-ever sectional title, could have gone. Or if Wapahani's seniors, who worked their whole life for a sectional title, could've brought the program its first regional title. Or see if Delta could've gone deeper than last year's team, which finished the regular season undefeated. Or watch how crazy Hartford City would've gone to celebrate a Blackford team that was having one of its best seasons in history after going just 1-22 just three seasons ago.
