Gatorade believes in working with some of the greatest athletes in the world … so it comes as no surprise that they have Lizzi Smith’s contact information.
Smith, a Muncie native and Paralympic swimmer, was featured in Gatorade’s newest commercial “Greatness starts with G” that aired nationwide Thursday alongside athletes such as the Seattle Seahawks’ D.K. Metcalf and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.
And while Smith may not be as well known as Metcalf and Tatum, her inclusion in the commercial drives home Gatorade’s belief that all athletes are special.
“At Gatorade we believe that athletic greatness doesn’t start in the spotlight, it begins with hard work, day-in and day-out,” said Jill Abbot, Gatorade head of consumer and athlete engagement.
