DALEVILLE, Ind. — Going into last season, every volleyball team in Indiana was playing catch up.
Any sense of a normal offseason was pushed aside thanks to COVID-19, and the first time most teams met in-person was when official practices started last July. Daleville was no exception, but trying to find chemistry was made even harder as the only communication Valorie Wells — who was named the Broncos coach in February 2020 — had with her team was done over the phone.
Coming into this year, Daleville senior Emi Isom said the difference has been "night and day.
