NORFOLK, Virginia - led the Ball State baseball team with a big day at the plate but host Old Dominion found hits at the right times to beat BSU 6-3 on Friday afternoon.
Tellier, getting the start at DH in the leadoff slot, went 4-for-5 with and was a homer short of the cycle. He scored two of BSU's three runs in what was the best individual offensive game for a Cardinal on the young season. Tellier led off the game with a single on the game's second pitch and later doubled to lead off the top of the 3rd inning.
