MUNCIE, Ind. — Saturday, before Ball State football's comeback win against UConn, fans were invited to get their first glimpse at the 2022-23 Ball State men's basketball team.
While many didn't take advantage of the opportunity, one thing became abundantly clear as the team went through various drills throughout the two-hour session: this isn't the same Ball State men's basketball team you've seen the past few seasons.
New head coach Michael Lewis, who was vocal with both his players and the few hundred fans in attendance, and his staff have brought a different energy into the gym.
