MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State men's volleyball (3-0) will face its toughest test of the 2022 season as it hosts reigning national champion and No. 1-ranked Hawai'i (4-0) for a two-match series at Worthen Arena on Saturday, Jan. 29, and Monday, Jan. 31.
It marks the 14th time in history the Cardinals will play the No. 1 team in the country and the first time since 2017 — when then-No. 1 ranked Ohio State visited — in which Ball State will host the top-ranked team.
The last time a No. 1 team not in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association came to Muncie was in 2014 when UC Irvine visited.
