Iga Swiatek won her third major title on Saturday, beating Ons Jabeur in the US Open women's final.
The 21-year-old from Poland is only a few months removed from winning her second French Open, one of her six titles in 2022.
Jabeur, the No. 5 seed from Tunisia, had been aiming to become the first African woman to win a Grand Slam event in the professional era, which began in 1968. Jabeur had lost only one set in the tournament before Saturday's match.
